Any genre, it matters not.
First of all, I could probably recite every line in Braveheart and The Crow by heart. So, those are my two favorites I suppose.
I'm also a big fan of Cabin Fever, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Fountain, any of the Monty Pythons, Girl in 3-D (Aiden and Adam, I know you guys would like this one), Children of Men, anything Mel Brooks, This Is Spinal Tap, Jacob's Ladder....there are more, but I must limit myself before I begin to sound monotonous...

Mel brooks movies are the shit! Super Troopers, Euro Trip (unedited!!), Waiting...The Princess Diaries (cheesey, I know)...The Princess Bride (a classic), the first two Addams Family movies..."Would you like to buy some girl scout cookies?" "That depends...are they made from real girl scouts?". Oh, and anything with Julie Andrews in it.

Definitely anything Mel Brooks, though I have to admit, Spaceballs is not really my favorite. Anything Monty Python...I'm still trying to hunt down Erik the Viking. Hmm, the Addams Family movies for sure, V for Vendetta, The Prestige, Transformers, Star Wars!!! (duh, geek!!), Talladega Nights, The Chronicles of Riddick, oh oh, and Shaun of the Dead.
I could go on but I'm sure nobody wants me to do so.

Erik the Viking is pretty great, although it can't hold a candle to the actual Python films.

I like anything zombie except dead alive . . .that movie blows donkey nuts. I also enjoy cheesy knight movies like dungeons and dragons , first knight , robin hood , lord of the rings and all that geeky foohaw. Cloverfield was pretty amazing as well. But I love john cusak movies more than anything the only movie that could ever beat gross point blank is jeckyl and hyde together again . . . .lol

I have no doubt that others have already found this. But I think it is fitting. A new movie coming out. Entitled "Zombie Strippers" www.imdb.com/title/tt0960890/

Ok I have to give Dr Blood credit Dead Alive is a good film, but it breaks all the zombie rules.
